Maple Island lies between 55 degrees and 40 degrees west. Also between 35 degrees and 20 degrees north. It is about 1,035 miles wide and 1,035 miles long. It has and area of about 1,071,225 square miles. To compare, in square miles it is slightly smaller than the U.S. states Alaska, Texas, and Montana combined.

Maple Island has a total population of 67,391,956 people. The average population density for the island is 62.0. It is less population in the middle of the island. This is where the farming takes place. The big cities are located along the coast, where the tourism is.

Maple Island has a humid subtropical climate. They have hot and wet summers with mild winters. The winters are drier and barely go below freezing. In summer months the temperature is 70 degrees Fahrenheit and higher. Winter months temperatures range from 40 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. There is an average of 30 to 60 inches of rainfall per year. This climate is great for growing citrus fruits, rice, tobacco, and cotton.

Maple Island is fairly flat and does not have a lot of high elevation. The tallest elevation they have is at 1,756 ft above sea level. This is at the very top of Maple Hill.

The farming of Maple Island takes place mostly in the middle of the island, with the industry and tourism on the coasts.

Maple Island is split up into four regions. These regions are to help with schooling districts. The regions would be similar to states. Each region has their own leadership to hep run the daily life, but the whole country follows the laws of the same government. Maple Island has one lake and one river each named after the island. The capital is named after the island as well.
